What Do You Seek?
We are all participants on a journey that is life. Do you ever wonder why you exist or if you have a greater purpose other than moving through life from one day to the next, working every day to pay the bills and provide for self and family? To know the answer to the question, you first have to know yourself. What is important to you? What interests and excites you? What do you want to accomplish in life? What gives your life meaning? Are your beliefs your own and founded in fact or fiction? You won’t know if you’ve never asked, and if you do not know, you could find yourself being led down a path that you are not meant to walk.
Go within, explore the inner workings of your mind. Look to your past and what it reveals. Observe and make note of your emotional reaction to different experiences and situations in the present. Learn what your weaknesses and strengths are. Look to your beliefs and determine whether they serve you or serve others. It is not unusual to find that the asking reveals both answers and more questions. With every question, you learn more about yourself. And by knowing yourself, you will know what to seek to live a life of meaning and purpose.
There is no wrong answer. There is only your answer.
