Dancing With Your Rhythm

Being in flow with your desires.

Let go of any “shoulds, woulds, or coulds” and breathe deeply into the rhythm of your soul. Your mind won’t step on your toes when you dance with your soul.

Message

Your heart is astounding; its rhythm maintains your body for you to experience life. Likewise, your heart chakra—the multi-dimensional source of your soul wisdom and intelligence—floats in the center of your chest. It resonates with invisible waves of rhythmic creation. These are visible to your inner world. The creation of a desire and the subsequent emotions form vibrational waves that expand and contract through space and time. When you are in rhythm and sync, you are surfing the waves and dreams and know when to take inspired action. You will feel what needs to be released or embraced to create the path towards the fullness of your manifestations. Are you in the flow and keeping up with your desires?
Some days will be naturally rewarding and pleasurable, other days less so. Appreciating the peaks and valleys will enable you to sync with your rhythm, raise your vibration, and magnify your manifesting skills. Recognizing and enjoying the wonderful and fun moments in your life is easy. But it takes skill to climb a mountain, be good at your chosen career, or even navigate emotional hurt.
Peaks and valleys initiate a wave pulse, the vibrational signature of your desire. Running from the valley into the peak will only provide half the information needed to manifest a desire, creating an inferior version. The same goes for running from the peak and trying to create from the valley. You may think, “Who would do that?” But we have been conditioned to structure our lives from this perspective. Think about the following ideas that society holds and perpetuates:
“We must work hard and suffer to get what we want.”
“Great art comes from pain and suffering.”
“The only way to get past an obstacle is to conquer it.”
The trough of the wave allows you to experience the contrast of what you desire, which offers you clarity, resilience, and gratitude for what is coming. It can feel overwhelming; naturally you don’t want to experience the lows. The trough is needed to inspire a path of newness to the peak, and the peak allows the fullest experience of your desires. Be the flow!

Conscious Creator Masterclass: Ride Your wave of Desire

This masterclass introduces the idea of universal rhythm and how to ride vibrational waves and go with the flow. The following visualization gives you an energetic experience of your desires on their way to becoming manifested – a preview of what will likely emerge. This space allows you to clarify and adjust any element for a better experience. Have fun creating!

Visualization

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. Place the Dancing with Your Rhythm card at your feet. In your mind, repeat your manifestation name or the word ‘dance’ nine times. Gently close your eyes. Sense your body and concentrate on your breathing. Follow your breath inward. Hold for five seconds. Breathe out and release all tension. Relax and breathe naturally.
F=Gently settle your attention and awareness in the middle of your chest to initiate the unfolding of a desire. The vibrational signature of your desire creates a wave that stretches into the universe, stirring the ocean of infinite possibilities. Feel the rhythm of your desire like you are dancing with it. Float in the peak experience of your desire in a beautiful place called ‘Summer’. Play with the beauty of your desire; let it merge and expand your consciousness, knowing it will soon turn up in your life.
You begin to ride your wave downwards through the release of ‘Autumn’. Feel your desire rushing into the past to create more enhanced versions of it. It will always be with you as a memory in your heart. The wave moves you into the valley, into the shadow of ‘Winter’. Something here feels disregarded and unloved, needing to be cleaned up to help you create and be more. These things move out of the shadow. Relief washes over you as you realize these things are part of you and made up of unrealized dreams that you were told to disregard. Collect them up, hug them, and welcome them home. Your wave takes you upwards into new desires and the renewal of ‘Spring’. You pick up speed as you create new skills and adventures. Then you are in ‘Summer’ again, experiencing a desire…
Ride the wave of your desires for at least a minute.
Gently ride your wave back into your heart. Acknowledge where you are and know that each phase of the wave is needed to manifest your dreams. Honor the space and the emotions, be kind to yourself, listen and love every aspect of you. Don’t leave any part of you out in the cold, they will be sad and keep knocking, turning up as triggers. Let all of yourself in for your beautiful life.
Take two deep breaths in and out. Wiggle your toes and fingers, stretch your body and open your eyes.

Journal Work

Following the visualization, jot down or sketch your impressions of each season, exploring the varied elements necessary for manifesting your desires fully.
Summer – Be present with and enjoy your manifested desire.
Autumn – Release and let go to make space for more desires.
Winter – Embrace and love all of you, and clean up anything holding you back.
Spring – Keep planting new seeds of dreams and desires.

Reflections and Actions

Understanding the language of the heart reveals your unique soul beat and how it pulses in rhythm with others, nature, and the universe.
The heart has four needs: attention, affection, appreciation, and acceptance. Engaging with the four needs sharpens your intuition and flow, unveiling the heart as a precise instrument resonating with your emotions and feelings. Your heart interprets this information, guiding you towards what needs embracing, allowing, or healing, all the while dancing in tandem with your soul.
Attention encourages you to listen to yourself and be a good listener for others. Affection asks you to care for yourself and be kind to others. Appreciation is a state of gratitude. Practice self-congratulations, celebrating even minor achievements, and express gratitude to others for their contributions. Acceptance entails embracing your authentic self—and the world around you—as they are.
There are lots of activities you could take part in to help embody all of this, such as joining a drum circle, or taking dance lessons—salsa, belly, ballroom, or whatever inspires you. Moving your body in time with music will improve your relationship with your authentic nature. If you are feeling adventurous, you can try ecstatic dance—a free-form dance movement encouraging free expression and release to the rhythm that can lead to trance and a feeling of ecstasy.
