Bast awakens Anubis’s holy longing with fruits from the sacred tree of life. Anubis hangs in anticipation, preparing to meet his father in the depths of the waters of the dreaming world. Osiris awaits Anubis’s surrender into his watery embrace so that renewal and rebirth can result.
What are you dying to discover and/or renew? When you pull this card, it’s time to stop and consider the concept of surrender. Through your ability to find stillness in a meditative state, you will be able to recognize how in your everyday journey, you are engaged in this shamanic rite of passage of surrender, death, renewal, and regeneration. Talk about going into the depths! I am having major eye surgery in less than 2 weeks. If I don’t have this done my vision will get worse and worse. At time I am excited and at times scared and sad that the recovery time will take me away from things I love doing for an undetermined length of time. I just had my years anniversary of shoulder surgery for a injury that took nearly a year tom diagnose. Then recovery time was long and painful but I rallied and regained full use and strength of my right shoulder. Before that I had a cornmeal abrasion and C Diff Colitis during Covid. These were horrible. After recovering from shoulder surgery I had mysterious leg pains that took 7 months to diagnose and remedy. I am so tired and nI have prayed, offered smoke and my heart to the Gods and Goddesses for relief an courage to go through these debts. Oddly, ” I am very healthy and strong right now otherwise but at ties I feel like I am sinking. I have Anubis on my Altar, may He guide me though this time to a new land where I can see the world more clearly not just with my eyes, but the 3rd eye and the eyes of my heart.
