Wanderer’s Wisdom

Stand firm now wanderer, with your shield in place, and your armor donned. This card is all about protecting your mental wellbeing, your dreams, and your interests. As well as your body physically from harm (either from another person, activity, or illness). Stand your ground, don’t be pushed around or let yourself be dissuaded from what you know is right or suitable for you. Pulling this card can also indicate that you must be strong and protective of others, for instance, a child, partner, or just someone who is being unfairly persecuted. You are justice at this moment, it is a time for white flags to be banned and for you to embody strength. Let solidarity of your purpose and intention emit from every move you make and every word you speak. You are the conquering knight in shining armor. You are not the victim, not today, not today, wise one!

Take Action

Surround yourself with trustworthy people only. You or someone you know needs protection and standing up for. No time to play the victim. Stand up for a cause you believe in, take action. Keep promises, especially if you have been asked not to mention something very personal to a friend who has confided in you.

Shield Revealed

Nothing is more emblematic of taking a stand, protection, and safeguarding in battle than the bold raising of a large metal or wooden shield. To the wanderer, a shield can also take the form of confidence based on being secure in the knowledge that you are justified holding your ground. Shields can also deflect and deflate a situation, so they are easier to manage and resolve.
