Breaking Habits

A vision so dark, it cannot stay.

This harmful side must be kept at bay.

But it highlights an issue, from which I’m running.

Change is needed, for which support is coming.

The mystical journey is long and true,

I’ll be courageous and wander through.

Wanderer’s Wisdom

You are taking on a dark and dangerous form. The thing that has your attention, your money, your craving, your misplaced loyalty is turning you into something that you never wanted to be. The energy of this card was most likely pulled because of an addiction of some sort. Whether it is sex, drugs, money, or anything else that obsessively has your life, it is time to break through this compulsion or help someone close to you stop their self-sabotaging habits. Like the werewolf, when we let this ugly side of ourselves take over, we lose all associations of our reality and reasoning. We can hurt people we don’t mean to hurt, and we can make reckless decisions that are harmful to ourselves. This is not the end, and it’s a time of astronomical transition for you. A change must occur, or you will regret this life, and at the end, regret is the last thing you want to feel.

Take Action

You or someone in your life is in desperate need of changes to their environment. Surround yourself with a new community. You aren’t acting like yourself; your habits are turning you into something ugly. Break these tendencies before you do something unforgivable. If smoking, drinking or drugs have become your crutch, now is the time to seek help, and you will succeed.

From its medieval European folklore origins, the werewolf legend spread across the New World. Romanticized in fiction and film, the idea of humans becoming animals (and inheriting their traits) is also profoundly entrenched in all ancient civilizations, where the employment of such transformations was strictly controlled.
