Lovingly Speak Your Truth

Vulnerability is Strength

Truth doesn’t exist in a vacuum. It is ever-shifting, evolving and changing with each new layer of perspective. It is easy to point the finger at someone else and focus on what others have done to hurt you. However, healing occurs when you take responsibility and expand your perspective to include how you have impacted others.

Review your life and determine where you have been less truthful with yourself and other than you could have been. This could be with your children, partner, family members, colleagues or friends. When did you decide to withhold the truth from them? Was it out of love, care and appreciation or because you have been holding onto hurts and fears about openness and judgment?

You have the opportunity to take responsibility for past behavior, be honest, grow, mature and develop trust with those you care for by acting from a place of honesty. Courage is not confronting people about their wrongdoings. It’s gently sharing what you have held back, being willing to bare yourself and finding new ways to show love and support.

When you see yourself for all that you are, the dark and the light, your truth becomes a potent demonstration of love and strength. When you speak your truth, you show the world that there is always an opportunity to choose a higher path. You serve as an example for others and inspire them to speak their truth with fearlessness, open-heartedness and potency.

Healing Practice

To integrate the guidance of this card, you may wish to perform the following healing practice.

Energy Healing

Sit comfortably. Breathe deeply. Place your attention on your throat. Breathe into it. Gently acknowledge any ways that you stopped expressing yourself. In particular, focus on why and when you may have hesitated or stopped voicing your love, care and appreciation for others and how it feels to know that your reticence could hurt those you love. Do not judge. Just honestly acknowledge your feelings and actions.

Imagine a purple fire is burning in the back of your throat. Focus on the fire and place any dark, heavy, fearful, judgmental, hurtful victim energies into the flames and allow them to burn and release. When finished, douse the flames.

Imagine a big blue bubble surrounding your throat. Focus on that bubble. Allow it to envelop your throat like a soft blue cloud. Let the softness of the cloud float into your throat, filling it with confidence and the ability to speak strongly, honestly, lovingly, clearly and expressively.

Observe the cloud transform into a loudspeaker at the hollow of your throat. When you speak, the loving thing you say can be heard and deeply felt by all. Practice saying out loud what you wish to say or wish you would have said to others. Feel the words vibrate in your throat and emerge with power and effusive love.
