Listen to Inner Guidance

Wisdom Dwells Within
Amidst the chaos of the world, it can be easy to lose touch with our inner guidance. If you are constantly busy and struggle to find a moment for yourself, you may have become overly fixated on external circumstances at the expense of internal balance.
Your wise inner voice is sending you a message that will help place you on a healthier path. Give yourself the time and space necessary to listen. Do not let yourself be bombarded by outside noise. Open your heart and listen to the wise words of your inner voice.
Your inner voice may come to you through dreams, inner knowing, signs and patterns in nature. You may even find it reflected in the persistent inquiries and entreaties of friends and family who have been nudging you toward change for some time. Tune in and listen to this inner voice. Proactively implement its suggestions, and you will see the deep yearnings of your heart manifest in the world.
A dream you have been working toward for many years may be yearning to manifest or take a new form. Communication with your loved ones may require a softer, gentler, more loving approach. Maybe you feel the call to study or discover more about yourself and your spiritual nature. Know that although change can bring some discomfort, when you listen to your inner guidance and follow through on it, the results will be worth it.
You may feel so comfortable and attached to what you have and know that you are resistant to change – even if what you have and know are causing you to stagnate. You may be scared that discovering something new and different could challenge the comfortable rut off your life. This card asks you to find the courage to listen and trust your inner guidance to direct you down the right path. A prosperous future awaits. You need only listen.
Healing Practice
To integrate the guidance of this card, you may wish to perform the following healing practice.
Daily Practice
Your ears are like sponges that absorb information. There are so many sounds you are unaware of because you can only focus on small amounts of information at a time. Much of what we hear can be negative. This negativity can affect your mind, body and emotional wellbeing.
Each day, become aware of the noise around you and how it’s affecting you. Does it make you want to block your ears and run away, or does it make you want to sit up and listen? Reflect on the music you like and listen to your body for signs of impact. Is your music sensitizing and uplifting?
Ask whether there is anything you don’t want to hear. Gently cup your ears with your hands and listen. Next, ask yourself what you are afraid of discovering. Is there an aspect of yourself or your life that you need to change? Are there criticisms that you are no longer willing to hear?
Take a pen and paper and write down detailed answers to these questions. This is not the time to skim the surface but to really listen and thoughtfully consider your answers.
Revisit these questions and journal daily for at least seven days.
