The positive influence of Odu Ossa makes you a highly intelligent and active person, capable of accomplishing great deeds in a short period of time. Proactivity and achievement are the keywords of this moment, and if you are not always busy and running against the clock you will not feel complete, will you? Passionate about what you do, you have the gift o moving everything and everyone around you; of making things happen and bringing life and warmth where there was only stagnation.
A tireless worker, you are single-minded, and no effort is too much for you. Your steps are guided by the speed of thunder and the force of storms, and Ossa’s fire governs your thoughts and actions. Knowing that success is on the way gives you the courage to face even the greatest challenges, although you urgently need to learn your own limit, body and soul. After all, as much as you want to believe it, you are not a machine.
Benevolent and generous, you do not hesitate to help anyone who asks, assuming for yourself the mission to make up whatever’s lacking: money, love, care. In return, you demand that those you’ve helped are willing to accompany you on your journey at your fast pace – and that won’t always be possible. This doesn’t mean that you should slow down, nor that people don’t love you; you need to recognize that everything and everyone has their own time and rhythm, usually different from yours.
Ossa’s Empowering Ritual: On a Waxing Moon Wednesday, write your wishes on a piece of white paper, asking Oya for the courage, determination and enthusiasm to pursue your biggest dreams. Cover a pottery plate with cherry, Pitanga or strawberry leaves and put the paper on tops of them, drizzling it lightly with palm oil. Place a bid red apple on the paper, then drizzle it with honey and place nine coins around the apple. Around the plate, place and light nine red or maroon candles. Next day, either eat the apple or bury it in your garden or in a pot plant at your home or workplace.
