Explore the Hidden You

Reveal Yourself

When we don’t have a strong self-image, it can be easy to believe the stories others tell abut us about who we are. You may have inherited a false impression of yourself from others. You may have relied on others to validate your choices or put others’ approval before your own. This way of seeing your unique self no longer serves you.

This card asks you to be curious and explore who you are beyond the masks you wear to please others. You are now being guided to create more favorable structures around how you think, feel and live so that you can grow.

Looking at life from a materialistic viewpoint can create a preoccupation with what you don’t have. You may begin to see negativity all around you. Instead, adapt to changing circumstances and seek the spiritual path that best serves you. You will learn to appreciate hardship as an opportunity from growth and evolution.

Emptiness and falsehoods may have guided aspects of your life recently. You may feel as though you are at a vulnerable point in your journey. You are being called to let go of limited ways of thinking and behaving to enter a more meaningful paradigm.

The time has come to expand and restructure your life in alignment with your deepest soul journey.

Healing Practice

To integrate the guidance of this card, you may wish to perform the following healing practice.

Visualization

Sit comfortably. Imagine you are holding a torch capable of illuminating and uncovering suppressed aspects of the self, such as unconscious beliefs, feelings and memories. When you shine this torch into your bones or any area of your body where you have discomfort, you illuminate these hidden pains and bring them to conscious awareness.

Scan your body to find areas of pain, discomfort, injury or blockage. Shine your torch on any affected areas. If you feel the need, send green cleansing light into your bones to strengthen them. Say, “Reveal the truth of this pain/discomfort/injury/blockage.”

Take your time and allow insights to come to you without judgement. Acknowledge what is revealed to you with gratitude. Attempt to view these insights from several different angles.

Note down your observations. Ask whether you could have prevented the pain/discomfort/injury/blockage from occurring. If so, consider how you can change your behavior to ensure it doesn’t happen again. If not, ask how you can mitigate the damage if it occurs again. Permit yourself to be the most honest you have ever been.

How can you look after your inner home, so you are healthier and happier in the future? Take as much time as needed to contemplate this and write down your answers. Make an agreement with yourself to take small or big steps forward consistently.

Write down the steps you can take in the next seven days to promote health and balance and commit to actioning them. Celebrate each time you do something positive to honor your body and health. Don’t feel discouraged if you cannot complete a task or practice on a particular day. Gently acknowledge it and move on. Create a new goal for the following day. To heal, rebalance and transform, focus on small, consistent actions that fit into your schedule. Over time, these will lead to profound transformation.
