2020 Vision
A New Earth Begins
Clear sight or clairvoyance is ushering in new perspectives and ways to experience life. This time may be challenging as significant change is often preceded by upheaval. Continue along the pathway being revealed to you. There are better times ahead. Avoid looking back and lamenting the closed door of the past, as it may tie you to suffering and regret. Instead, extract the wisdom from your past and project it forwards. Use it to help you restructure your inner and outer boundaries. Make space here, in the present, to rearrange your priorities and imagine how different approaches could play out. Be still, engage your visionary self, and gaze into the periphery of your circumstance. Consider what you may have bypassed trying o skip ahead without processing life’s lessons. Face, embrace and integrate your experiences as wisdom. Otherwise, they can remain issues that become obstacles to your fulfilment. When everything seems to have turned upside down, engage your 2020 vision for a kinder vision for the future.
Shadow Mastery Class: Find a Fresh Approach
Meditation
Place your hand on the card. Gently close your eyes. Sense your body and concentrate on your breathing. Follow your breath inward. Hold for five seconds and relax. Breathe out and release all tension. Focus on the middle of your chest.
In front of you, a golden staircase descends into the earth. Walk down the ten healing steps to a magical, amethyst crystal cave. Greet your shadow as it emanates from a door in front of you. This door has layers of light depicting the symbol on the card. This imagery connects to the Mayan calendar and the I Ching and represents ways to measure changes in time. Take a breath and float through the door as if you are moving through many dimensions of space and time.
Instead of entering a room, you find yourself floating in front of a wormhole. You see it snaking through space and wonder where it will take you. The words “Create Thyself” stream through the light that pours form this secret passageway. Everything behind you is history, and everything in front of you is a mystery. You are here, now, on the crest of a soul light wave, about to ride for the sheer joy of it. Jump into the wormhole. You are safe.
Colors rush past as you feel the pull of your soul, and yet you feel like you are still. Look at your hands and see them becoming light. They are glowing. You are vibrating, transforming. The old is peeling away to reveal the magnificence of your soul. This is not a time for returning home, for wherever you are, you are home.
Through the colors of your wormhole, a pulsing star rushes towards you. It fills your vision and embraces you as you journey from the wormhole into the star. Serene, misty energy floats around you. You are suspended in love, deep in the creative heart of the Universe, and it wants to share a message with you. Listen with your heart. Stay here for as long as you like-at least thirty seconds.
You are the center of your own universe. It is time to create your world instead of living in someone else’s. Each moment, each breath, is an opportunity to begin again. Your heart and the creative heart of the Universe have become one. Now focus on your heart space as you float through the multidimensional door into the amethyst cave.
Return to the golden staircase. As you ascend, allow your consciousness to flow from your heart and expand into every cell within your body. Ground all your experiences into your physical self. Thank your shadow for being the gateway to other dimensions. When you reach the top of the stairs, take two deep breaths and open your eyes. Creation awaits.
Inspired Insights, Reflections and Actions
The shadow can resist change in many ways. It might reject the reality before you and suggest or be drawn to alternatives. These theories might not be based on fact but assumption and strung together to fit a specific agenda-such as a less uncomfortable reality. Let alternative views and conspiracy theories activate questions that will find a solution instead of triggering blame or encouraging ignorance.
Many years ago, I attended a lecture by the late writer and teacher Stuart Wilde, who I found engaging and kind, if not a little mischievous. He said something akin to, “If the government was to start taxing air, we would learn to breathe differently.” Anything is possible if you believe it.
Consider that whatever you are asked to do is neither good nor bad. How you feel about it determines its effect on you.
Journal Work
Write or draw about an experience or time when you felt isolated or overwhelmed. It could have forced you to change or live differently. To gain deeper information, write or draw about the experience from the perspective of an animal or object that was significant during that time.
*What did you gain?
*What did you lose?
*What did you learn about yourself?
*What did you learn about your friends or family?
*What changes, big or small, did you notice? Or are you still noticing?
*What surprised you?
