The Unconditional Center

Outdated ideas about love may be preventing you from seeing the beauty of love all around you. This may be with a lover, partner, child or animal or at home, work or in a business. Wherever you are or whoever you are with, you may be unable to see or feel that others are appreciative of you in a loving way. Heart love is unconditional. It is constant and present in all circumstances. As children, we may have learned that we had to be a certain way to be loved-to be something other than our true selves to be worthy. This teaching may not have been conscious or done out of malice. The parents, caregivers or teachers may have felt the same way-disconnected from heart love. Come back to your center and care about your feelings. Gently refocus on your heart to remember the truth, wisdom and love of you. Heart love recognizes something greater in a world full of duality and comparison. It sees the beauty in all that you are.

Shadow Mastery Class: Touch Your Heart Love

Meditation

Place your hand on the card. Gently close your eyes. Sense your body and concentrate on your breathing. Follow your breath inward. Hold for five seconds and relax. Breathe out and release all tension. Focus on the middle of your chest.

In front of you, a golden staircase descends into the earth. Give appreciation and thanks to your body, mind and soul for all the unconditional love and support they give, even when you don’t recognize it. They walk with you down the ten healing steps and into a magical, amethyst crystal cave.

Find a comfortable place to sit. Gradually the moon from the card shines light into your inner world to awaken your inner eye and other psychic senses. Bring your attention to the hand on your heart and rest your complete focus on this space of heart love. Notice how easy it feels to focus here.

Misty moonlight drifts around you, drawing you deeper and deeper into your heart love to reveal a hidden temple made of light. The words “Know Thy Heart” are inscribed above the entrance. Pure loving energy radiates from your temple. Open your heart, mind and body to fully receive the love freely offered to you. You are now floating deep within the consciousness of your heart love.

A special moonlight healing washes over your heart, cleansing, clearing and softening any hard edges. It feels like a gentle vibration pulsing through you. Know yourself as love, for you are becoming your soulmate. Stay here for as long as you like-at least thirty seconds.

Return to the golden staircase. As you ascend, feel your heart love center in your chest. Thank the darkness for allowing you to see and feel the moonlight that will keep surrounding you as you adjust to the vibration of heart love. At the top of the stairs, take two deep breaths and open your eyes to the love surrounding you. You are love, and you are loved.

Inspired Insights, Reflections and Actions

Wanting unconditional love is conditional. External love isn’t the complete remedy for filling an internal emptiness. You may not know how to see, feel or receive love or think you are worthy of it.

Try the following:

*Heart love yourself so you can give and receive unconditional heart love.

*Watch movies or read books with healing, romance, transformation, redemption or adversity as themes to help you feel into the needs of your heart.

Journal Work

Sometime in the next week, take yourself on a date. Do something you have always wanted to do. Don’t look to the experience to make you feel good; find a way to feel good beforehand. Take a breath and center yourself before you go. Your energy will shift into higher vibrations, allowing you to receive even more of your desires and dreams.

This celebration will give you a sense of achievement and empowerment. You don’t need anyone else to go out with to experience something you genuinely want to do, see or feel. Don’t wait until your birthday to celebrate; instead make every day a new birthday.

Go for it; celebrate your life.

Write about your date with yourself in your journal. Reflect on the ways you experienced love-both as giver and receiver.
