Divinely Spiced Wine
Ingredients
4 cups (1 liter) red grape juice
1 1/2 quart (1.5 liter) bottle of jug red wine
2-3 sticks cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon whole cloves
1/2 tablespoon allspice
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
3/4 cup (170 grams) firmly packed brown sugar
Directions
In a large saucepan, combine juice and wine. Add spices and brown sugar. Bring to a boil. Decrease heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Adjust sweetness by adding sugar to taste. Yield: 10-12 servings
