Named for Henry How, Howlite was first found in Nova Scotia around the 19th century. Now sourced primarily in the United States, Howlite’s calming energy is extreme. Often dyed green, white, and blue, Howlite can often be identified by its veiny, black threads, which are said to be akin to intrusive thoughts (acknowledged in existence and then let go) or their complete lack thereof.

Howlite’s links to other dimensions opens one for attunement and preparation to receive wisdom and insight from the worlds the eye cannot see. It can help one access past lives or safely project consciousness. It helps the mind utilize the pineal gland to see beyond linear space and time and into dimensions whose wisdom their soul craves. To properly clean Howlite, do not use chemical cleaners, acidic perspiration, sand or dust. Use lukewarm, slightly soapy water and a cotton cloth. Rinse well and pat dry. If it is dyed, do not immerse it in water. It is best stored in soft cloth within a box or pouch to reduce damage over time.
