Enhance Your Intimate Relationships

Deeper Connections Await

It’s time consider what may be inhibiting your intimate relationships. Holding on to wounds or worries from the past may be stopping you from moving forward. You may feel like things are not how they are meant to be.

Are you holding on to hurt, anger or feelings of resentment toward a loved one? Do you shut down or refuse to speak until a situation reaches a boiling point and erupts? Do you self-sabotage or ignore your needs in favor of those you love?

This card asks you to soften your heart and work on developing a practice of gentle, honest sharing with those you love. Not giving yourself the time and space to go within and discover what you truly need from others may have made it difficult to express your needs. Acknowledge your needs and explore how you can become more thoughtfully loving to yourself so you may extend that love to others.

This card encourages you to find new ways to gently and lovingly express how you would like to be treated. This requires honesty, vulnerability and a sense of trust. Youa re also being asked to let go of protective pride and build healthy boundaries. Tune in to your feelings to understand what is and isn’t okay for you.

Learning to see yourself objectively and recognizing when your behavior adversely impacts others will help deepen relationships. Consider how your actions may have affected those closest to you and how you can move forward more healthily.

You are being offered the opportunity to go within and find new, creative, kind, noble and gracious ways of expressing yourself to your loved ones. It’s time for your relationships to flourish.

Healing Practice

To integrate the guidance of this card, you may wish to perform the following healing practice.

Creative Healing

Sit somewhere you can write, draw or paint comfortably. Inhale deeply and exhale several times to center yourself in the moment. Place your hands over your bladder and tune in to your feelings. Are you angry, irritated or upset with someone or something in your life? Are you allowing these feelings to control your state of being or dictate your actions?

Take some time to draw, paint or write about the situation. You creation can be as abstract or as literal as you desire. Allow the notebook, canvas or medium of your choice to absorb your negative feelings and unspoken words. Feel the energy within you transform into healing, cathartic and joyful creative expression.

If your process allows, reflect on what is upsetting you while you work. Consider whether your situation could be improved or worked through with honest and open communication. Is there something you can learn from this situation that will help you grow? If so, how can you positively apply the lesson?

Once you’ve finished your creation, you can hang it up, preserve it somehow, or discard it. Do what feels right for you.

Energy Healing

Sit or stand comfortably. Rub your hands together. Hold your palms slightly apart. Imagine you are holding a warm yellow ball of supportive, healing energy.

Place your hands over your bladder or another area that feels right to you. Allow the ball of warm light to penetrate deeply and soften any areas of energy density. Old feelings, memories or visions associated with the situation or similar past events may surface. Observe and acknowledge these as they come. Allow them to pass through you without lingering or clinging.

When the density has cleared, you have finished your process. This may happen immediately or over the following days, weeks or even months.

Visualization

Sit or stand comfortably. Imagine the person you wish to express yourself to is in front of you. How do they look? Are they smiling and healthy, or are they angry, sick or scared? Imagine them open and receptive. Feel the warm energy flowing freely between the two of you. If that energy of loving communication had a color, what would it be? Take time to explore all the shades of this color. Memorize how it looks and feels.

Every day for the next thirty days or as long as feels good, consciously create beautiful shades of this color in the space between you and the person or people close to you.
