Tune in to Your Body
You are entering a time when your body will become stronger. If you have been or are sick, you are on your way to feeling better. Begin to focus on a sense of wellbeing. If you are healthy, you will be inspired to strengthen your body through yoga or another form of exercise. Your body is enlightened and knows how to heal itself. Every feeling – be it pain, butterflies, excitement or love – is a message from one part of the self to another. Tune in to your body through meditation and ask what you can do to improve your wellbeing. Behind the human in the image is the Flower of Life, a symbol that represents the process of creation. It is mad up of overlapping circles that are a repeating expression of the first circle. It is a geometric metaphor reminding us that the nature of life is continued expansion. Your body takes you everywhere you go, so acknowledge, thank and love it.
Soul Mastery Class: Connect to the Wisdom of Your Body
Meditation
Place a hand on the card. Ask the Flower of Life in the image for inspiration toward new ways to create with your body and life. Close your eyes, slow your breathing and sense your body. Imagine your breath carrying your awareness into a deeper connection with your physical body. Notice any twitches, itches, tightness or soreness, and observe where in your body this occurs. Are they telling you something? Focus on your body for at least thirty seconds. When you feel ready, imagine golden light pouring through you into the earth. You are grounded and centered. Breathe this wisdom into your life. Then, open your eyes and feel how good it is to be in your body.
Inspired Reflections and Actions
*Get to know your body by asking it questions. Pay attention to what it is sensing and how it communicates this to you.
*If you have any pain or discomfort in your body, send it light. When you are in the shower, imagine the water is healing light washing away all forms of pain.
*Research chakras and the Flower of Life.
*Learn a new way to move your body. For example, tai chi, a martial art, yoga or dance.
