Divinity
Divinitas
Increase your connection with what you recognize as divine. Know that you have the spark of divinity within you. Love yourself-because what right do you have not to love yourself if you are of divine origin?
I came from her,
Birthed bloody through the dark moon,
Placed upon the earth on the new,
Fully realized, yet a child.
And the spark of her divinity,
Diana’s life-force and grace,
Lives within each of us,
In mind, heart, and face.
Aradia, it is said, was the daughter of Diana and Diana’s brother, Lucifer, the Lightbringer (also known as the Horned God), both divine beings. Within Aradia is their divine spark. Yet it was also said that tis divine spark, the fire of creation, is found within each and every one of us, as well.
How then., if we love the gods, can we hate ourselves? What right do we have to belittle ourselves or harm ourselves? What right do we have to ignore the divinity in others by hurting them, by making them as slaves to our whims, or by treating them with less care than we show to our friends? If we all have a spark of the Divine, how can any of us be lesser than another?
As sons and daughters of the Divine, we have both a privileged place in this life and the responsibilities that come with that privilege. We can repay this gift by honoring our own lives and the rights and lives of others.
