Spider Woman is revered by the Hopi people. A matrilineal society, they saw her as the Creatrix and protector of life, and her we as a matrix connecting all sentient beings. Their wisdom teachings refer to the Star Nations, as their ancestry, and stories of star beings are interwoven into their culture. Legend says that when polar shifts destroyed the earth’s surface world, Spider Woman led humans underground to live with the ant people (possibly the Mantid race) until the deluge was over and they could come out and begin again. You need a new beginning. There is no shame in taking a break and starting a new story.
