King Arthur was a great leader. We know this because invaders were kept at bay for thirty years during his recorded lifetime (circa 500 CE), and there was relative peace in the land. The striking profile of a king is present in a natural sculpture in the slate and crystal cliff of Tingatel Castle, in north Cornwall – the site of the rite of Sacred Kingship. A left footprint is carved in the rock, marking the spot where a new king would connect to the land on winter solstice while crowning himself. We are each the axis mundi of our kingdoms, the connection between the heavens and the earth. It’s time for you to embody this responsibility yourself, with strength, compassion, and balance.
