A Sinclair knight sits on the bridge leading to Rosslyn Castle. Underneath him is a secret subterranean passageway leading to the vaults of Rosslyn Chapel. He looks out with anticipation, wondering when the vaults will be opened and their scrolls of wisdom revealed. The only words carved into the stone of Rosslyn Chapel are these: “Wine is strong, the king is stronger, women are stronger still, but truth conquers all.”
