Aphrodite (pronounced aff-roh-DYE-tee) is the goddess of love, beauty and sensuality. Classic Greek mythology says she was born from the sea foam around Paphos, Cyprus. Exuding feminine energy, Aphrodite evokes the creative and heart-renewing powers of water. She was a divine queen in Lemuria, and reigned over all matters of love, romance and relationships. Her temple contained a huge rose quartz crystal. Aphrodite heals our defenses against accepting love. Her mirror reveals our true beauty, her pomegranate invites us to revel in sensuality.
