Yule Revealed

Known also as Midwinter or the Winter Solstice, Yule marks the shortest day of the year. This is the time of the Sun’s return when the goddess gives birth to the “star child” on “Mothernight”- a sacred time of solar rebirth when we bring into our homes the Yule log for the returning sun, mistletoe for fertility, and holly or protection.
