North
Sacred Knowledge
These words I hear, I integrate,
letting arrogance and fear dissipate.
Universal wisdom, you always know best,
before you, I lay my troubles to rest.
The mystical journey is long and true,
I’ll be courageous and wander through.
Wanderer’s Wisdom
The winds from the elders are whispering in your ear, take heed of the wisdom they bring. The North brings out our later more intuitive years. This is a time where your past lives can start to seep more into your consciousness, teaching you lessons, and assisting you in healing your wounds. This is a valuable time to listen to any mentors that you have or that cross your path, or even words from friends and family. This card represents a moment of serious contemplation where the teachings we have learned truly begin to integrate. Use your resources wisely, for the North is of frugal energy. You may not have a lot of time, energy, or material things, but the universe is going to ask you to dig deep, soul search, and be humble. You are not always right, and you don’t always know best. The words that others speak are significant now. Listen to their knowledge, and allow them the time to reveal all you need to know.
Take Action
Gather your elders and community, ask them for the guidance you are looking for. Read more, especially books, with a different view from yours. Live on less. Keep things simple. It is time for wound healing or past life work. Listen more and be patient.
North Revealed
Indigenous American and Australian peoples heralded the “North” as a place of recuperation, reflection, regeneration, and readjustment. The North is associated with the element of earth and the season of winter. Being in the “North” offers first-hand experience of achieving something alone, without the influence of others, gaining confidence and resilience.
